Seasonal colours are here and some of our favorites this year are a shade darker and deeper than the happy pinks of summer – mysterious purples and blues are taking over for fall. These shades are especially attractive on Asian skin tones. Warm tones work great on darker skin and cool ashy tones work well on fair skin.

Taiwanese artiste Rainie Yang is also launching a new album at the end of September ’16 – and guess what colour hair she’s sporting on her album cover? A gorgeous ashy purple:

For something to invoke the sea, mermaid blue or denim blue is a gorgeous shade this season. The blue fades over time to a beautiful aqua. It’s also an easy colour that won’t give you a headache over wondering how to match your wardrobe with your hair, because it’s a primary colour that works well with most neutrals.

It’s also been seen on Nicole Richie, and the mid length hair of hers really accentuates the colour well.
As always, protect your hair before and after colouring. You can either go for the reconstructing treatment or the intensive treatment to prevent hair breakage. Smooth, healthy and shiny hair also helps to show off the colour, and to make it last longer.
Colour lovers: we also have a very special surprise product we’re revealing in early October. It’s designed for those who enjoy colouring their hair, yet want to keep their hair shiny and healthy. It’s also a great option to keep your colour looking fresh in between salon visits! Keep a look out for our reveal right here and on our Facebook & Instagram.
